Why was Raziel up at 4:28 in the morning with a muse that just refused to quit!? Well, we don't know and at this point, who cares!
Raziel is the founder of Shadows of the Moon, and the one that made this board possible, however it has grown so much since her little spark of imagination that got it going. An avid online, browser based game player, she quickly brought over many members of the MonstersGame community. Many of the original members were discouraged at past role playing sites, for they had bored quickly of the same plot, and less than original writers.
SotM hopes to rectify that experience. Anything you can create you can role play here, in any time or place, with any characters you can dream, be they nightmares or fantasies.
We have grown into a large community since our inception but we still maintain that "family feel". If you're new to play by post role playing our members are always there to offer tips and advice, and if you're already an advanced role player we hope to encourage your creativity and help to create quality stories together.
No matter how much we grow in the future, the atmosphere will continue to focus on respect, and family.
